Diplo & Oliver Tree - "Ultraman"
Carlos and Gustavo from Neko Studio reached out to me to create over 30 animated titles inspired by Japanese sci-fi and horror genres from the 1960s for the official lyric video of “ULTRAMAN” by DIPLO and OLIVER TREE, the soundtrack for Ultraman Rising, the Netflix reboot of the iconic Japanese kaiju saga. The project involved designing and animating over 30 titles, drawing inspiration from Japanese (and other) sci-fi films of the 1960s and 1970s.

All the final designs featured in the official lyric video include custom typography inspired by posters and title designs from 1960s and 1970s horror and sci-fi movies.
